A Note from Executive Editor Logan Decker:
On behalf of the staff of PC Gamer, I apologize for being unable to record our regularly scheduled podcast this week. I know that this is a particularly awkward time to miss a podcast, and I’m aware of what many of you may be thinking. So I want to reassure you that—and this is the absolute truth—the missed podcast has nothing to do with my broken foot. The lack of commentary in our reader mail and in the comments section of this very forum to the effect of “Wow, Logan broke his foot but still goes to work every day because he’d rather walk on shattered bones barefoot over ragged pieces of glass and steel than miss a day of pouring his heart and soul into PC Gamer” or “Apparently, Logan is the Navy Seal-type who’s able to completely ignore his own pain, as if he’d turned it off like a switch… what a stud!” clearly indicates that the readers of PC Gamer have been shocked into stunned silence by the news of my tragic mishap. This is extremely moving, but please understand that I am fine and recovering nicely, and that the absence of a podcast this week is a result of our company’s annual two-day meeting extravaganza, where we gather offsite to discuss print and web strategies and engage in brainstorming, blame-shifting, and name-calling.
Oh, and this doesn’t have anything to do with Kristen’s promotion either. Just a company meeting.
Rest assured, we’ll be back next week with more thrilling gaming news, witty repartee, and readers who braved ridicule by calling (877) 404-1337 ext. 724 to record their questions.

P.S. As you look forward to next week’s podcast, feel free to go here for a picture of me in Singapore with a bunch of chicks.
